DESIGN & TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FOR JUTE NATURAL FIBRE CRAFT CLUSTER.

WDO has been granted aid for Design and Technical Development workshop for the Jute Natural Fibre cluster at Bhumi Mandir, Dist. Dehradun under Ambedkar Hatshilp Vikas Yojna by DC (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles in order to increase production base and upgrade the skill of artisans in the cluster.

Following are the key features of the workshop:

1. 25 days subject to a minimum of 125 hours for design training.​​

​​2. No of participants per workshop is upto 30 artisans per batch.

3. Minimum 2 sets of 10 prototypes are to be developed during the event.​​

4. All payments of stipend/wages are paid through Account Payee Cheque/Demand Draft/Accounts transfer to artisans accounts. No cash payment is allowed in any circumstances.
